Reviews for four Bicycle Bike Rack Receiver Mount Fits 1-1/4 2" Hitch (Misc.) I've had this bike transporter for approximately a year now. The concept is great but the construction & design is terrible. Yesterday I loaded it with four bikes as normal (2 adults and a pair of child bikes) and after a couple of block in view that leaving my hose, we heard an important "thud" and a horrible noise. Stopped to check and "Lo and behold" the base had broken, the four bikes fell and I dragged them for a few feet prior to stopping. Luckily, this came about at about 10 miles per hour and not within the highway the place I was headed. It may have led to a chief accident. I forgot the title of the company that makes them otherwise I'd sue them for the inherent possibility. I had used it with out drawback unless now. This used to be whereas using the 2 inch adapter...
